WAYPOINT WINS FOR THE 3RD CONSECUTIVE YEAR WITH MAV3K™

NASHUA, NH, June 16, 2020 — Waypoint Robotics is proud to announce that for the third consecutive year, Robotics Business Review chose them as one of the Top 50 Leading Robotics Companies. The annual RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards (RBR50) list celebrates forward-thinking organizations and their original, impactful creations. Known throughout the world, the RBR50 awards are also a critical measure of robotics sector growth. This year, Waypoint was recognized for the introduction of MAV3K™, an industrial-strength, 3000 lb capacity, omnidirectional autonomous mobile robot.

Eugene Demaitre, Senior Editor for Robotics Business Review, wrote in his analysis, “The design of Waypoint’s AMRs reflects its workforce-first approach to usability. MAV3K is engineered to be a ruggedized mobile robot with multiple redundancies for safety, as well as EnZone contactless charging, intuitive controls, and a high capacity for automotive manufacturing, pallet moving, and other use cases.”

Announced by WTWH Media and produced by Robotics Business Review for the past decade, this year’s awards were presented for the following classes of innovation: Business and Management; Technology, Products and Services; Application and Market.

“We’re honored to again be recognized as one of the most innovative robotics companies in the world,” said Jason Walker, co-founder and CEO of Waypoint Robotics. “We continue to realize our vision of a workforce who are empowered by our robots and MAV3K is another great tool designed for these workers. Success for us is measured by the success of the people who put our robots to work; but we also appreciate the industry recognition. I’m extremely proud of my team and all we’ve accomplished to date”
