June 26, 2018 (Merrimack, NH) — Waypoint Robotics is proud to announce it has been named one of the Top 50 Leading Robotics Companies of 2018 by Robotics Business Review.
In being selected for the annual list, Waypoint joins several other companies considered to be world leaders in robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles.
This year’s RBR50 list of top robotics companies was chosen by a panel of judges based on whether they make truly innovative products, have achieved commercial success, and have transformed their end-user markets. Judges placed particular emphasis on companies specializing in collaborative robots or cobots, pick-and-place systems, mobile platforms, and self-driving cars.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the most innovative robotics companies in the world,” said Jason Walker, co-founder and CEO of Waypoint Robotics. “We are realizing our vision of a workforce which is empowered by our robots and operating them with pride and confidence. Success for us will be measured by the success of the people who put our robots to work; but industry recognition is also important and appreciated.”
Waypoint was recognized by Robotics Business Review as a company poised to revolutionize supply chain automation through its flagship autonomous mobile robot, Vector.
