Let’s Get Ready for LiveWorx 2018: What to Expect at the World’s Leading Tech Conference

By: Jason Walker | CEO & Co-Founder
Waypoint to Present at LiveWorx in Boston | Waypoint Robotics

LiveWorx, the world’s leading technology conference and industrial marketplace, is only a few days away, and the team at Waypoint is gearing up for a jam-packed few days of innovation and disruptive technology.

The multi-day event — June 17-20 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center — features everything from IoT, AR, AI, and machine learning to blockchain, robotics, and more.

While we’re looking forward checking out the show and networking with other startups, we’re most excited to meet with attendees and  showcase our latest robotics products — particularly our flagship mobile robot, Vector.

What To Do at LiveWorx 2018

There’s a lot going on at this year’s show, but make sure to check out the following:

See Vector — The first thing to do at LiveWorx is to stop by Booth #1209 within the Robotics & AI Summit and meet our team. We love to talk, but we also love showing people how easy our robots are to use — which is why if you swing by our booth you can expect to see Vector in action. LiveWorx’s exhibition hall is called Xtropolis, and it’s loaded with the leading technologies of today and tomorrow.

Meet Waypoint’s CEO — Waypoint CEO and co-founder Jason Walker will discuss how Vector’s unprecedented ease of setup and use has lowered or eliminated barriers to entry for customers. His talk — Ease of Use Enables Ease of Adoption — slated for Tuesday, June 19, 3:15-4 p.m. in Room 156C, explores specific examples of customer use cases that drove them to seek out automation, challenges that prevented them from adopting automation sooner, and the innovations that motivated them to say yes to mobile robots.

A few takeaways of the session will include:

  • Pain points that keep adoption rates low.
  • How Waypoint makes mobile robots accessible through ease of use.
  • How a user-centric design approach can lead to accessible robots.

And if you happen to be in Xtropolis earlier in the day on Tuesday, be sure to swing by the Expo Theater to catch Jason give a short presentation featuring Vector. The talk takes place at 11 a.m.. And after that, you can get a closer look at Vector in our Booth #1209.

Meet Us at the Mix @ 6 — They don’t call it the “tech party of the summer” for nothing. Brought to you by BostInno, MassChallenge and Mass Innovation Nights, this buzzworthy event brings together the best and brightest technologists for a fun evening of networking. And definitely don’t miss the Startup Showcase, hosted by Mass Innovation Nights, to see new products and tabletop demos in IoT, AR, and robotics. Waypoint is one of the 10 startups to hold demos during the showcase.
